I have had the pleasure of working with Geraldine in two different capacities, both as a personal client of Geraldine's and also partnering with Geraldine as eBay Ireland looks at how we can enhance our support to mothers returning and transitioning back to work.
Meeting Geraldine, I knew from her personable style and experience she was exactly someone I wanted to work with personally and professionally who understands the challenges and opportunities of change.
As a personal client of Geraldine's she supported me through a key transition period pre and post an organizational change. I value her natural support and ability to explore my thoughts with me to arrive at clarity in my thinking, goals and next steps. Geraldine was able to tune in very quickly.
Working with Geraldine to enhance how we support women returning to work, Geraldine demonstrates a deep situational awareness of women transitioning back to work and has partnered with us to tailor some specific sessions. Through this Geraldine has proven to listen, be flexible to our needs and delivered strong proposals to meet those needs.
I would highly recommend Geraldine as a coach and business partner in developing solutions around change and transition within an organisation.

"I think the ability to have an open and frank discussion about your career with someone that has no direct involvement is good, it makes for more honest conversation than I would have with my Manager. Most discussions with Managers are usually around getting to/through the next annual review with a desired outcome and not about your long-term career/future."
– Daniel, Test Manager
"We both saw (and felt) the huge change in me during the session! I found it particularly helpful to learn about visualisation and will be looking into starting work on affirmations over the weekend to help build my confidence."
– Kate, HR Co- ordinator
"I really found it to be very helpful from my point of view to focus the mind. It also made it clearer from my point of view as to what I need to do to get to where I want to be."
- Dermot, Test Manager
“Prior to my coaching with Geraldine, I was unsure and lacked confidence in my abilities. Thinking about my return to work, made me feel anxious that I wouldn’t be able to do my job and I was focusing on the areas I felt I lacked experience. Geraldine helped me build up my confidence and see my value and worth. Also allowing me to focus on the positives of what I was bringing into the role. I felt much more focused and confident in my capabilities after each session. Anything we discussed was dealt with in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. I would highly recommend Geraldine”
– Siobhan, Legal Executive
"From my first meeting with Geraldine it was evident that she was passionate about helping people reach their true potential. She helped me regain my confidence and through her coaching skills steered me back on course. Her ability to listen with natural empathy and then make you accountable for your own set of actions is really impressive. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone wanting to make that next step in their personal or work life or even to just going again."
- Liam, Change management consultant
"Simple techniques, applied in a hugely collaborative way allowed me, with guidance and support, to answer the questions I was asking myself for a long time. Highly recommended.
- Brian, Operations Support
"I came to Geraldine after 8 years as a stay at home Mum. I had previously worked in a professional legal environment & didn't want to return to the corporate world. Geraldine's clear and concise approach to helping me focus my mind on how best to progress into a different environment was hugely beneficial. Her natural empathy & ability to steer my thoughts into actions was greatly appreciated. She recognised my desire to stay true to my current values of family first while also recognising my need to develop a career/occupation for me. I'm now on course to studying a new discipline, in stark contrast to the legal & business environment I previously worked in. My mindset is clearer & thanks to Geraldine I know the only obstacles to success are those I put in my own head, so, in the words of Susan Jeffers 'Feel the Fear and do it anyway'. Thanks Geraldine for your encouragement & helping me get to where I am today. It's only the start of my new journey, but it's a positive start!"
Suzanne - Stay at home mum
"I had an interview, a year after having my first baby. My confidence around interviews had taken a battering due to poor performance in an interview I had while heavily pregnant the previous year and I needed to feel that I would do myself justice during the next interview. Geraldine's focused session was exactly what I needed. Her refreshing approach allowed me to focus on my own experience, to identify the resources that I would need for the interview and, most importantly, to find those resources within myself. This was invaluable to me before, during and after the interview. I felt confident that I would perform to my best during the interview, I presented as very relaxed while interviewing and I left with my head held high feeling that I had done as well as I could. This, in spite of a change of venue 10 minutes before the interview and being 5 minutes late for it! I got the job! The techniques used allowed me to put my best foot forward by very easily and authentically accessing the resources that I already possessed in order to tackle a task, and excel at it. It is a technique I have used since my interview and I find it invaluable. Thanks Geraldine!"

I recently returned to work following maternity leave and I did a number of coaching sessions with Geraldine to help with this transition. I would highly recommend Geraldine, she is an incredibly personable coach and this allowed us to have very open and honest conversations. Geraldine uses simple techniques and tools to help drive clarity on your own strengths and weaknesses, supporting confidence building and allowing you to gain clarity on your value, which in turn supports in understanding your career path.
Claire - Implementation Manager at Microsoft
Geraldine not only helped me work through challenges I had career wise but in my life in general that held me back from progressing , believing in myself and achieving a good work/ life balance. We worked through these challenges in each session with a positive outcome at the end of each call. Geraldine gave me tools/ skills to use as some habits are hard to break over night and through her insistence I need to work on this on a continuous basis.
Had I not spoken to Geraldine I may have given up on my career, made bad choices in relation to promotion and continued a vicious circle of overwhelm and burnout.
